Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an FTTH Construction Project Manager to support large-scale residential fiber deployments in New Jersey. The role emphasizes vendor management, utility coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver on-time, on-budget projects.

The ideal candidate will manage construction vendors, review as-built documentation, and drive projects from planning through closeout, leveraging Sitetracker and NJUNS for reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing broadband, FTTH, fiber, cable, OSP, telecommunications, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting residential FTTH deployment initiatives.
• Experience managing construction vendors, contractors, engineering firms, or subcontractors.
• Experience coordinating with utility companies, municipalities, and permitting organizations.
• Experience reviewing and validating as-built documentation and contractor invoices.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within New Jersey.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale FTTH construction projects throughout New Jersey.
• Oversee vendors performing residential FTTH deployments, edge-out construction, and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Coordinate engineering, permitting, utility, and construction activities required to support network growth initiatives.
• Drive project execution from planning through completion.
• Review and validate as-built documentation for project accuracy and completion.
• Track contractor invoices, production reports, and project milestones/deliverables.
• Maintain project reporting and records within Sitetracker and NJUNS.
