Job summary

UniTek Global Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end fiber deployment initiatives, coordinating planning, design, fielding, permitting, and as-built deliverables.

The role emphasizes budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and invoicing across multiple FTTH projects. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing fiber deployments, client relationships, and engineering teams, ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with client standards and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunications, Project Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience managing and overseeing engineering and/or construction deployment projects.
• 10+ years of fiber engineering and program management experience.
• Experience with FTTH, OSP engineering, fielding, fiber network design, make-ready engineering, and as-built documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple FTTH engineering projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and quality.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee all phases of FTTH engineering including planning, fielding, permitting, design, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client stakeholders for project execution and issue resolution.
• Serve as primary customer contact, providing status updates and executive-level reporting to maintain client relationships.
• Manage vendor/subcontractor performance to meet contractual requirements and KPIs; monitor costs and take corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery, efficiency, quality, and accountability.
