Job summary

Swoon in Anaheim, CA is seeking an FTTH Construction Project Manager to oversee fiber-to-the-home construction from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget targets are met.

The role requires coordinating third-party contractors, performing regular field visits, and applying experience in FTTH, underground construction, or utilities to drive quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing FTTH construction projects through subcontractors and vendors.
• Experience with preconstruction, project planning, and field execution.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, production, quality, and issue resolution.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, permitting, inspectors, utility owners, and contractors.
• Strong subcontractor management experience, including productivity monitoring, work sequencing, escalation, and corrective action.
• Willingness to conduct regular field visits throughout the market.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction activities, including constructability reviews, permitting, work order development, material planning, and project readiness.
• Develop project schedules, sequencing plans, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Identify potential construction risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage FTTH construction projects from preconstruction through construction, closeout, and handoff.
• Coordinate and manage third-party contractors and vendors throughout project execution.
• Track daily and weekly production, schedule performance, costs, and project milestones.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance.
• Resolve field issues and coordinate with engineering, permitting teams, inspectors, and utility owners.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, and forecasts.
