Job summary

BlueSky Resource Solutions is looking for an Outside Plant, FTTH Construction Manager to oversee and ensure quality for Fiber to the Home projects. You will monitor fiber optic installations and work closely with contractors and engineers to confirm compliance with project specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in FTTH construction and holds a relevant degree. This role includes a range of responsibilities from conducting inspections to preparing reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in FTTH or OSP construction and inspection.
• Proven knowledge of fiber optic installation techniques and splicing.
• FTTH Council certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect FTTH construction activities for compliance.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure integrity of installations.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Familiarity with fiber optic testing tools

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong understanding of FTTH-specific construction practices

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or related field

High school diploma or equivalent
