Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is hiring a Forklift Operator at our York, PA area facility. You will operate a forklift/reach truck to move merchandise, track inventory with handheld tech, stack and replenish items, and support safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating material handling equipment is required.
• Previous experience on reach truck/stand up forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift/reach truck to move merchandise within the warehouse.
• Track inventory using handheld computer and related tech.
• Stack, rotate and replenish merchandise to support timely fulfillment.
• Stage finished product in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
• Follow all forklift safety protocols and SOPs.
• Occasionally lift varying case weights up to 60 lbs or more.

Job Description

Earn $19/hour + Incentive pay when you graduate! Full time, Day shift (overtime as required) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 630am-630pm & Wednesday 630am - Noon 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York PA

You will contribute by:

• Operating a forklift/reach truck to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Staging finished product in designated storage areas
• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
