Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is hiring a Warehouse Unloader for our York, PA location. You will unload inbound trailers, record codes, and handle pallet movement using forklifts and pallet jacks on a 3rd shift schedule (4/10s, with weekend work).

The role requires 1+ year forklift experience, strict safety adherence, and strong teamwork to support fast-paced operations and community-ready service.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• General safety procedures must be followed.
• Team-oriented with a passion to help communities.

Responsibilities

• Receiving product, recording dates and breaking down pallets per procedures.
• Use forklifts/pallet jacks/clamp machines to move merchandise.
• Move pallets from dock to correct aisles and keep pace to avoid backlog.
• Conduct equipment inspections and complete forms.
• Safely lift varying case weights as needed.

As a Warehouse Unloader, you’ll be part of a productive team, tasked with unloading and receiving inbound trailers. This is a fast-paced role, perfect for energetic individuals who are highly organized and like to stay active

Job Description

Starting rate $19/hr with an earning potential of $20+/hr after training! Full Time, 3rd shift available

Schedule: 4/10s with at least one weekend day, 6:30pm start time until end of shift. overtime as required

Location: 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406

You will contribute by:

• Receiving product, recording code dates & breaking down pallets of product according to appropriate receiving procedures
• Utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise
• Maneuvering pallets of product from the dock to correct aisles
• Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product
• Performing equipment inspections & completing appropriate forms
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
