DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for Night shifts in the Labor & Delivery unit. The role requires delivering patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating across disciplines, and maintaining clinical competencies.

RN licensure in Texas, BLS, NRP/ACLS within 6 months, and willingness to cross-train are required. BSN preferred; prior Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• NRP certification or within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS certification or within 6 months of hire.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course recommended by end of second year.
• Willingness to cross-train to other areas.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate nursing care for department-specific patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure care aligns with Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and competencies.
• Mentor and guide staff as needed.
