Job summary

The Lead Server at Bishop Gadsden oversees dining venues across our community, guiding servers and ensuring top-tier guest service. This role supports front-of-house leadership, enforces policy compliance, and mentors team members in a hospitality-driven environment.

As Manager-on-Duty, you will supervise service standards, manage closing procedures, and safeguard dining areas and assets while collaborating with management on ongoing improvements to guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee servers and ensure compliance with the dress and appearance policy
• Maintain sanitation, nutrition, and DHEC standards
• Ensure smooth operations across dining rooms
• Assist servers during meal service as needed
• Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly
• Conduct service meetings and train new team members
• Promote teamwork and collaborate with management on process improvements
• Supervise team members and uphold high food-service standards
• Monitor side work and closing procedures
• Maintain inventory and place orders as needed
• Secure dining areas, equipment and cash drawer at close
