Job summary

Planet Fitness seeks a customer service representative to deliver a high-quality, judgment-free experience to members and guests at our Asheboro club. You will greet, sign up, and assist members while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

The role requires basic computer skills, 18+ age, and strong communication. Competitive scheduling, with benefits and growth opportunities, are offered as part of our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet and sign up new members and log amenities.
• Handle beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new signups.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
