BrightStar Care is seeking a full-time caregiver to join our team in Minnesota, delivering 1:1 home care to clients in their own homes. Daily tasks include hands-on personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship, with flexible scheduling and up to full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and caring by nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience delivering hands-on home health care.
• Reliable vehicle with valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Negative TB test or cleared Chest X-ray.
• Available to work two weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with daily activities: meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring.
• Transport clients to appointments and social outings as needed.
• Monitor changes in health and report to RN Case Manager.
• Coordinate with care team to update the plan of care.

We are seeking a FT caregiver to join our team in a 1:1 caregiving position working with clients in their own homes. Daily tasks include hands on personal cares, meal prep, light housekeeping and companionship. We offer flexible scheduling with up to full-time hours available. Ideally seeking a Full-time caregiver who can commit to working every other weekend.

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
