BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support clients in their own homes across Minnesota. You will assist with daily activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, mobility, and transportation, delivering personalized care with empathy and respect.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in hands-on settings.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
• Negative TB test or cleared chest X-ray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients' lives.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Coordinate with the RN Case Manager to update the care plan.

With a variety of shifts and both full time and part-time hours available build a flexible schedule that works for you! At Brightstar you will be working with clients individually within their own homes assisting with things like personal cares, meal prep, transportation, and light housekeeping.

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements:

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
