Job summary

BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. is seeking reliable Home Health Aides to join our Bloomington, MN team. You will provide one-on-one care in clients’ homes, performing light housekeeping, meal prep, and personal care with a focus on safety and comfort.

The role offers flexible schedules across 6am-12pm, 12pm-5pm, and 5pm-10pm, with opportunities for advancement and weekly pay. Prior caregiving experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred; TB test/CXR clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in in-home care or similar settings.
• Ability to assist with daily activities.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings with transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Coordinate with RN Case Manager to update the care plan.

Bright star care is looking for reliable caregivers to join our team in variety of shifts including 6am-12pm ,12pm-5pm and 5pm -10pm. Caregivers will be working with clients one on one in their own homes doing a variety of cares including light housekeeping, transportation, meal prep and hands on personal cares.

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements:

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
