Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in the United States is seeking weekend caregivers to provide both personal care and meaningful companionship in clients' homes.

You’ll assist with daily activities, mobility, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation, and support for clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia. CNA isn’t required, and CPR/First Aid certification is a plus with training provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Responsible, mature, and dependable
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks)
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks)
• Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred — not required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Helping with mobility and safe transfers
• Meal preparation and nutritional support
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities

• Documenting care using our AxisCare app
• Following all safety and infection-control policies

Looking for Weekend Caregivers- Saturday and Sunday (additional hours may be available)
