Trident Seafoods is hiring a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician (FSQA) to protect product integrity and compliance. You will perform tests, document results, and ensure quality across production processes, materials, and finished goods in a dynamic seafood facility.

The role requires HACCP certification and 3 years of processing experience, with at least 1 year in QA within a food facility. Expect a safety‑driven environment with strong environmental and policy training.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in food processing.
• 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance in a food processing facility.
• HACCP certification.

Responsabilités

• Conducts standardized tests on products and materials to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.
• Documents data from QA activities per HACCP and company procedures.
• Records test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture, and quality.
• Applies acceptance/rejection criteria and marks items with progress/status.
• Notifies designated personnel of safety or environmental incidents or risks.
• Audits production facility and reviews sanitation practices.
• Communicates significant QA findings and recommends process improvements.
• Prepares reports communicating QA activity results to production.
• Identifies issues and suggests effective solutions.
• Maintains knowledge of QA codes and standards.
