Job summary

Trident Seafoods is actively seeking a FSQA Technician to support safety, quality, and legality of products at the plant level. You will assist the FSQA Manager with implementing the Quality Management Program and ensure QA processes meet internal and external standards.

In Alaska locations, you may perform weekly pest control, training, and regulatory responsibilities, with a focus on data accuracy, reporting, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced seafood processing environment.

Qualifications

• Reading and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Perform basic arithmetic and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform standardized tests on products to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Document QA data in accordance with HACCP and company procedures.
• Record test data (weights, temperatures, moisture, quality) and mark results.
• Apply acceptance/rejection criteria and tag items with grades/status.
• Audit facility sanitation and compliance with policies.
• Communicate QA findings and recommend improvements to management.
• Prepare QA reports communicating activities and results to production.
• Maintain knowledge of QA codes and standards.
