Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a FSQA Technician to support safety, quality, and legality of products at the plant level. You will assist the FSQA Manager with implementing the Quality Management Program and perform QA testing, data documentation, and facility audits to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

This role requires 1 year in food production, a high school diploma or GED, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a food production environment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct standardized tests to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.
• Document data from QA activities according to HACCP standards and company policies.
• Record test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture content, and quality.
• Apply acceptance/rejection criteria and mark items with grade and status.
• Audit production facility and review sanitation practices.
• Prepare reports communicating QA results to production management.
