Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a FSQA Lead in Alaska to oversee the QA staff on the production line and ensure compliance with HACCP standards. You will conduct standardized tests, review products, document results, and provide input to FSQA Management for process improvements.

This role requires hands-on supervision in a fast-paced seafood processing environment, with emphasis on safety, sanitation, and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of company, government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
• Preferred: industry-specific experience.
• Preferred: supervision or other leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the FSQA staff on the production line.
• Assists FSQA technicians with operational reports and paperwork.
• Monitors FSQA technician performance and provides assessments to FSQA management.
• Documents data and applies HACCP standards during QA activities.
• Audits production facility and reviews sanitation and compliance.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Supervisory experience (preferred)

Quality assurance knowledge (preferred)
