Job summary

Jack Link’s is hiring an FSQ Technician to perform quality and safety tests at our meat snacks facility in a regulated environment. You will conduct microbiological and physical tests, document results, and ensure HACCP-based controls are followed.

Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, maintaining clean work areas, and communicating findings to the FSQ Supervisor. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Requires Food Processing or Laboratory experience in a regulated facility.
• Understanding of HACCP and SQF or similar quality systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform product testing by preparing samples, operating testing equipment, and documenting results.
• Review results for accuracy and notify management when outside specifications.
• Calibrate testing equipment and maintain clean, sanitary testing surfaces.
• Collaborate with FSQ Supervisor to report findings and drive quality improvements.
• Assist in audits, continuous improvement, or new product development.
