Job summary

Link Snacks seeks an FSQ Technician to support our meat snacks facility's HACCP-based program. You will perform microbiological and other product tests, document results, and help ensure SQF and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes accuracy, clean lab practices, and teamwork with the FSQ Supervisor. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1 year in food processing or lab settings; more than 1 year in meat/ poultry QA or related study is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in food processing or laboratory environment.
• Preferred: over 1 year in meat/poultry QA or related study.

Responsibilities

• Perform product testing by preparing samples and recording results.
• Review results for accuracy and report any out-of-spec findings.
• Calibrate and clean testing equipment per procedures.
• Maintain clean and sanitary testing surfaces and area.
• Report findings to FSQ Supervisor and assist in training.
• Support audits, continuous improvement, or new product development.
