Job summary

Gehl Foods is hiring a FSQ Technician for the 1st shift (6am–2:30pm) to support quality monitoring, testing, and lab record-keeping at our Walterboro, SC facility. Base pay starts at $18/hour, with experience-based adjustments, and on-demand pay is available.

Responsibilities include executing QA routines, physical/chemical tests, CIP validation, and sample handling, while maintaining a clean lab and compliance with safety standards. Growth opportunities and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of QA experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Team-player mindset and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Execute Quality Monitoring Scheme routines.
• Execute physical and chemical testing.
• Execute postproduction testing.
• Execute pre-operation routines.
• Execute CIP validation utilizing allergen swabs.
• Coordinate collection and storage of finished product samples.
• Review and approve food safety and quality records; verify prerequisite records and programs.
• Maintain FSQ Lab area organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
