Job summary

Sandridge Crafted Foods is hiring a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician to join our Medina, OH facility. This hands-on role supports incoming materials, production records, and quality checks to ensure every product meets safety and quality standards.

All shifts available; no food industry experience required, we provide training. You will participate in audits, support food safety programs, and work with production teams to share best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn — a background in food, science, or quality is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming materials and ingredients to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Review and verify production records and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform quality checks and inspections throughout the production process.
• Spot and flag anything that doesn't look right, and help the team fix it fast.
• Support food safety programs that keep our products safe for the people who eat them.
• Work alongside production teams, sharing best practices for quality and food safety.
• Take part in audits and help keep our facility inspection-ready.

Now Hiring — 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift

Looking for a hands-on role where the work you do actually matters? As an FSQA Technician, you'll be on the front line of making sure every product that leaves our facility is safe, high-quality, and meets the standards our customers count on. No food science degree, no prior food industry background — we'll train you. If you're detail-oriented, reliable, and take pride in doing things right, we want to talk to you.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous QA experience and HACCP Certification are strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and understand food safety protocols.
• Experience with thermometer calibration and basic safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout.
