Job summary

Gehl Foods is hiring a FSQ Technician for 1st shift in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role involves executing Quality Monitoring schemes, physical and chemical testing, and postproduction checks to ensure product safety and quality.

You will perform CIP validations, collect and store finished product samples, and maintain FSQ lab organization while contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a QA function within food or beverage manufacturing industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs).
• Team-player mindset who shows up on time and ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Execute Quality Monitoring Scheme routines
• Execute physical and chemical testing
• Execute postproduction testing
• Execute pre-operation routines
• Execute CIP validation utilizing allergen swabs
• Coordinate collection and storage of finished product samples
• Execute review and approval of food safety and quality records
• Execute verification routines for pre-requisite records and programs
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping of FSQ Lab area
