Job summary

Gehl Foods is hiring for an FSQ Technician to support quality assurance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role focuses on executing QA routines, conducting physical and chemical tests, and ensuring accurate documentation of food safety records.

The candidate will perform postproduction testing, pre-operation activities, and CIP validation using allergen swabs, while maintaining lab organization and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of QA experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Execute Quality Monitoring Scheme routines.
• Execute physical and chemical testing.
• Execute postproduction testing.
• Execute pre-operation routines.
• Execute CIP validation utilizing allergen swabs.
• Coordinate collection and storage of finished product samples.
• Execute review and approval of food safety and quality records.
• Execute verification routines for pre-requisite records and programs.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping of FSQ Lab area.
