Job summary

General Mills is offering a 10-week QA Internship in Food Safety & Quality at a U.S. manufacturing location. The role focuses on hands-on work to build expertise in food safety, quality systems, and people leadership.

The internship includes front-line factory experiences, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Eligible students should be pursuing a Bachelor's in relevant fields and graduate in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering (primarily Chemical / Food Process / Biological), or related degree
• Graduating in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and quality strategy and address gaps to mitigate risk
• Collaborate with internal partners in R&D, Operations, Engineering and Maintenance to validate controls
• Manage issues with non-conforming product including risk assessment and root-cause analysis
• Protect General Mills' brands and engender consumer trust by manufacturing safe, quality food
• Build external relationships with regulatory, industry and audit agencies
• Learn from and lead Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to grow coaching and people-development skills

Education
