Job summary

General Mills, Inc. is offering a 10-week Quality Associate (QA) Intern position at one of our US manufacturing locations. The role provides frontline, factory-based experiences to build expertise in Food Safety and Quality, manufacturing, and people leadership.

The internship is designed to lead to our full-time QA program after graduation, with mentoring and exposure to the General Mills Supply Chain Development Program across Manufacturing, Logistics and Sourcing teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Graduating Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Strong academic record.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement food safety and quality systems improvements.
• Collect, analyze, interpret data for process capability improvements.
• Assess risk using problem solving techniques.
• Support QA internship projects and cross-functional teams.
