The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while following safety guidelines and holding times.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sets up the batter table, collects smallwares, and prepares batter mix.
• Ensures call sheets are complete, posted and used.
• Checks equipment and reports malfunctions to the Manager in Charge.
• Color balances fryers and maintains shortening levels.
• Filters and cleans fryers following safety guidelines.
• Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs.
• Prepares and cooks food as dictated by business needs and Manager in Charge.
• Ensures food meets specifications and holding times.
• Maintains a clean work area with clean-as-you-go practices and sanitation standards.
• Verifies supplies are stocked at the batter area.
• Keeps the cooler organized and clean.
• Performs all other tasks as assigned by Manager in Charge.
