Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor deep fryers to cook food items to proper temperature and quality standards
• Prepare and bread food items prior to frying according to recipes and specifications
• Monitor oil quality and temperature, changing oil as needed to maintain food quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fry station throughout each shift
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food production
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
• Familiarity with deep fryer operation and basic fry station procedures
• Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
