Job summary

Uncle Gs Management Corp. is seeking a Fruit Cutter to prepare, cut, and display fresh fruit for our grab-and-go shelves. You will handle washing, peeling, slicing, and packaging while upholding food safety standards.

You will work in refrigerated areas, stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and support inventory with FIFO. Candidates with or without prior produce experience are welcome; reliability and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation or produce experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely use knives and food preparation equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, slice, dice, and prepare a variety of fresh fruits.
• Package and label fruit according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
• Inspect fruit for freshness and quality, removing damaged or spoiled items.
• Stock and rotate products using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
• Assist with inventory and notify supervisors when supplies are low.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
