FROZEN FOOD/LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the department. Support the day-to-day functions of the Frozen Foods operations. Minimum Requirements:
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Retail experience
- Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

- Preparing and submitting seasonal critiques for the sales and merchandising supervisor
- Staying current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads
- Assisting store management in preparing the store/department budget, profit and loss reviews, and taking appropriate actions on financial reports
- Maintaining awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and noting discrepancies
- Scheduling price changes and updating shelf tags and promotional signs
- Planning, organizing, and supervising inventory processes
- Training associates on inventory, stocking, and Computer Assisted Ordering
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Reporting safety risks, issues, and illegal activities such as theft or fraud
