SIU Credit Union is seeking a friendly Teller 1 to be the vital front-line connection with our members. You’ll handle deposits, withdrawals, and payments with accuracy and a smile, aiming for Universal Teller status within six months.

This part-time, on-site role offers community-focused work, attention to detail, and opportunities to grow while helping members manage their finances. Hours: Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation.

Qualifications

• Six months of cashier or money-handling experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal communication and numerical skills.
• Bondable and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, friendly service to every member who visits our branch.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and payments accurately.
• Balance cash drawer daily and follow security protocols.
• Pursue Universal Teller status within six months.
• Maintain precise records using PC software and office equipment.
