Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a part-time Teller to deliver a welcoming, accurate, and customer-focused banking experience at a branch. You will handle routine transactions, balance cash drawers, and support daily branch operations while upholding security standards.

You will educate customers on digital banking tools, answer inquiries, and refer more complex needs to specialists, contributing to a positive community banking experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior teller/banking experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate banking systems and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Process routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing) with accuracy.
• Maintain cash drawer balance and adhere to security procedures.
• Assist customers and guide them to digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Redirect complex inquiries to appropriate team members while maintaining excellent service.
