Job summary

Burlington Stores in Tampa is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering friendly customer service.

You will monitor entrances, report theft, greet customers with energy, and support store leadership in reducing loss while upholding safety standards.

This part-time role offers a base pay of $14 per hour, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and opportunities to grow with our team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to deter theft and ensure safety.
• Greet every customer with a warm, energetic greeting and professional appearance.
• Identify and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty promptly.
• Help in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
