Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Railcar Paint & Blast Repair Supervisor to lead frontline operations on the shop floor in Oelwein, IA. You will oversee hourly workers, ensure safe, efficient repair work, and drive daily results while adhering to OSHA, FRA, and AAR standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety leadership, and accountability for production, quality, and employee development in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in railcar repair/manufacturing/industrial operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Able to read blueprints and weld symbols; follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly repair teams and drive production on the shop floor.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, FRA, AAR).
• Monitor production, track work in progress, and report status.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of staff.
• Coordinate with Materials for parts and equipment management.
• Identify process improvements and drive continuous improvement.
