Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a 2nd Shift Mechanical Railcar Repair Supervisor in Oelwein, IA. Lead frontline operations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while guiding a team on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in railcar repair or industrial operations, with supervisory experience and knowledge of FRA/AAR requirements. Base salary $80,000–$85,000 with a 10% production bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of railcar repair, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of FRA regulations and AAR Interchange Rules.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead repair operations and oversee hourly employees to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all work activities.
• Monitor daily production, track work in process, and update job status.
• Participate in daily production meetings and communicate progress updates.
• Partner with Quality and EHS teams to maintain compliance and audit readiness.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of employees.
