Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor who supports the Safety Above All Culture and leads a team of package handlers and administrative staff. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safe sortation, manage personnel, and drive performance through data analysis.

The role emphasizes coaching, training, and mentoring while maintaining compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree in related area or 2+ years of college coursework toward a degree
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Champions FedEx Safety Above All Culture and supports related initiatives.
• Hires, terminates, coaches, trains, recognizes and evaluates staff performance.
• Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls day-to-day operations.
• Assigns and manages employees to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyzes operational performance and drives improvement plans for key metrics.
• Leads daily meetings to communicate updates and goals; engages audiences of various sizes.
