• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree or 2+ years of college towards a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serves as a champion for FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and supports all related initiatives.
• Management responsibilities include hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition and rewards, performance evaluation and management, discipline, addressing employee concerns and staff productivity.
• Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls specific day-to-day operations.
• Responsible for assigning and managing employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages and movement of trailers.
• Analyzes operational performance and determines opportunities for improvement of key metrics.
• Leads daily meetings and communicates operational updates to staff.
• Participates in development of and administers safety strategies and programs.
• Investigates and resolves customer service issues as appropriate.
• Trains new employees in FXG policies and dock safety; mentors less-experienced supervisors.
