Job summary

FedEx is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All culture and oversee day-to-day operations and staff within the facility. You will ensure safe, efficient package sortation and manage both hourly staff and administrative personnel in line with FedEx policies and regulatory requirements.

The role includes coaching, performance management, and leading daily briefings, with a focus on safety, productivity, and quality improvements across the operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree in related area or 2+ years of college courses towards a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as champion for FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Manage staffing: hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition, performance management, and discipline.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
