Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a frontline staff and uphold the Safety Above All Culture. Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience required in a fast-paced environment (warehouse/dock/fulfillment center) or supervisory roles.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower a team.
• Verbal and written communication skills for multiple audience levels.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize, evaluate, and manage staff performance and discipline as needed.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyze performance data and implement improvements to key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings for workforce communication and updates.
• Develop and administer employee relations and safety strategies.
• Train new employees on duties and FXG policies, including safety and quality requirements.
• Mentor and develop other Operations Supervisors.
• Adapt quickly to change and maintain urgency with a positive leadership style.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
