Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a staff of package handlers and administrative personnel. The role emphasizes safety—aligned with the Safety Above All Culture—while ensuring efficient sortation and day-to-day operations within the facility.

You will supervise hiring, coaching, and performance management, monitor metrics, and drive process improvements. This on-site position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree in related area or 2+ years of college toward a degree beneficial.
• Six (6) months experience in package handling, warehouse, or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct day-to-day operations and staff.
• Ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages in the facility.
• Hire, coach, train, and evaluate staff; manage performance and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and implement safety initiatives and maintain FXG policies.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates to the team and stakeholders.
