Job summary

FedEx is seeking a frontline supervisor to lead and manage day-to-day operations and a staff of Package Handlers. The role focuses on maintaining the Safety Above All culture while ensuring safe, efficient sortation and adherence to FedEx policies and regulations.

The candidate will hire, coach, train, and evaluate employees, conduct daily planning meetings, and collaborate to improve key performance metrics. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification in safety or logistics is a plus.
• Experience in supervising or leading teams in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All culture and related initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, evaluate and coach staff while monitoring productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control daily operations.
• Assign and manage staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation and cost control.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate operational updates and goals.
• Develop and implement safety and employee relations strategies.
• Address customer service issues and ensure compliance with FXG policies.
• Mentor junior supervisors and adapt to changing business needs.
