Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or two years of MA experience is required.
• CPR card is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills are required.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are required.
• Strong computer skills with experience using medical systems is required.
• Ability to operate general office machines is required.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology is required.
• Strong multitasking, planning, and organization skills and ability to work independently or in a team are required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first clinical point of contact for SAMP patients, creating the first impression of the medical office.
• Perform clinical tasks under physician supervision.
• Provide excellent customer/patient services via phone and in person.
• Collaborate with all service staff to support direct patient services.
