Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Rockville, MD is seeking a Loss Prevention associate to act as a visible deterrent and support store teams in preventing loss while maintaining customer experience. You will follow the Store Emergency Response Guide, wear the Body Worn Camera, and uphold company policies.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment while standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional stance at the front of the store.
• Serve as a visual deterrent against loss/dishonesty.
• Review the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear the company-approved uniform and Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers and provide courteous assistance.
• Position at front of store or in a department.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior to LP or management.
• Perform closing safety sweep with management.
