Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring at TJ Maxx for a front-of-store Loss Prevention role in Capitol Heights, MD. You will deter theft, uphold store policies, and support a positive customer experience while wearing a Body Worn Camera and collaborating with store teams and LP.

Key duties include remaining stationed at the front, responding to inquiries, reporting incidents, and participating in safety sweeps. Prior retail or security experience is a plus; strong communication and independent work

Qualifications

• Retail or security experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a storefront environment.
• Strong observation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence at the front of the store to deter loss.
• Wear and operate a Body Worn Camera as required by policy.
• Greet customers and assist with inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Refer customers to management or customer service as needed.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or incidents to LP or store management.
• Conduct a closing safety sweep with management and document incidents.
