Job summary

KARM is seeking a Guest Services Team Member at the Main Campus in Knoxville. The role focuses on greeting guests, facilitating intake, and guiding visitors through campus rules and available programs. You will help maintain a welcoming, safe environment and support staff across departments.

The position requires Christ-centered values, calm leadership in crises, and strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred, and the role includes routine administrative duties

Qualifications

• Christ-centered and able to demonstrate biblical hospitality.
• Ability to remain calm and provide leadership in high-stress situations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relational skills.
• Basic understanding of mental illness, addiction, trauma, poverty, and related challenges.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, visitors, and volunteers with warmth and respect.
• Assist with intake and orientation to campus and programs.
• Maintain a safe, calm, and welcoming environment in common areas and entrances.
• Provide basic navigation to internal programs and staff resources.
• Manage daily bed and locker assignments and related logistics.
• Document logs and basic case notes as required.
• De-escalate conflicts and respond to crises with trauma-informed practices.
