Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Account Manager to join the Frontier AI team, focusing on strategic engagements for enterprise AI/ML workloads and scalable GPU/Trainium infrastructure.

You will guide customers through distributed training, inference, and HPC patterns, collaborate with engineers, and travel 10% or more to support platforms like PCS, ParallelCluster, and SageMaker HyperPod.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong distributed systems knowledge.
• 7+ years design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed apps.
• 7+ years technical engineering experience.
• Bachelor's in CS/Math or related field or 7+ years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic technical engagements for enterprise AI/ML workloads.
• Architect and validate production-grade AI/ML solutions using Slurm, SageMaker HyperPod, and HPC tooling.
• Enable customer success through HPC, LLMs, MLOps, and data processing pipelines.
• Improve training throughput, optimize NCCL communications, and drive operational efficiency.
• Serve as trusted advisor for compute, networking, storage, and orchestration decisions.
