Job summary

EY's Frontier AI initiative seeks to turn emerging AI capabilities into trusted business outcomes. The Frontier AI Assistant Director identifies opportunities, connects EY service lines, and leads work from experimentation to capability development across EY's global network.

You'll focus on trusted and open-weight models, enterprise knowledge systems, and agentic AI, collaborating with product teams, clients, and external ecosystems to scale innovations responsibly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IS, Business, or related field required.
• 8+ years in software eng, AI, ML, product development, solution architecture, or related tech disciplines.
• Hands-on experimentation, prototyping, or building with emerging tech as part of ongoing learning.
• Experience leading complex technology initiatives spanning technical, business, and stakeholder considerations.
• Ability to translate emerging tech into business value, technical solutions, or new capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging AI capabilities aligned with EY's strategy.
• Build relationships across service lines, sectors, alliances, regions, and external ecosystems.
• Identify, shape, and lead Frontier AI initiatives connecting tech to client challenges.
• Continuously experiment to understand capabilities, limitations, and potential applications.
• Design experiments, prototypes, and proofs-of-concept to validate opportunities.
• Assess opportunities across business value, technical feasibility, enterprise readiness, risk, and adoption potential.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to validate, refine, and advance new capabilities.
