Job summary

EY is leading a global effort to translate frontier AI into trusted business outcomes. The Frontier AI Assistant Director identifies and scales emerging AI opportunities, working closely with service lines, sectors, alliances, and innovation teams to connect client needs with new technologies.

You will design experiments, prototypes, and proofs-of-concept, assess feasibility, and drive capability development from experimentation through deployment, shaping initiatives that deliver measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, product development, solution architecture, technical consulting, technical program management, innovation, or related technology disciplines.
• Hands-on experimentation, prototyping, or building with emerging technologies.
• Experience leading complex technology initiatives spanning technical and stakeholder considerations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor developments across AI to identify capabilities, signals, and opportunities relevant to clients and firm strategy.
• Build relationships across service lines, sectors, alliances, regions, and external ecosystems to understand evolving needs.
• Identify, shape, and lead Frontier AI initiatives that connect tech with client challenges and strategic priorities.
• Continuously experiment with emerging technologies to develop understanding of capabilities and limitations.
• Design and build experiments, prototypes, and proofs-of-concept to validate opportunities and accelerate learning.
• Assess opportunities across business value, technical feasibility, enterprise readiness, risk, and adoption potential.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to validate and advance new capabilities.
