Job summary

EY's Frontier AI program seeks an Assistant Director to identify, shape, and scale AI opportunities across EY. You will work with service lines, sectors, and alliances to connect client needs with emerging technologies and lead initiatives from experimentation to capability development.

You will focus on trusted/open-weight models, AI-native software delivery, and enterprise knowledge systems, building reusable assets and playbooks to enable scalable innovations across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field and 8+ years in software eng, AI, ML, product development, or related tech
• Hands-on experimentation, prototyping, or building with emerging tech as part of ongoing learning
• Experience leading complex tech initiatives spanning tech, business, and stakeholder considerations
• Backgrounds in startups, technical program management, solution engineering, or innovation organizations preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor AI developments to identify capabilities, signals, and opportunities for EY clients and strategy.
• Build relationships across service lines, sectors, and regions to understand evolving needs and technology opportunities.
• Identify, shape, and lead Frontier AI initiatives connecting tech with client challenges and priorities.
• Experiment with emerging tech to understand capabilities, limitations, and applications.
• Design and build experiments, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to validate opportunities.
• Assess opportunities across business value, technical feasibility, enterprise readiness, risk, and adoption potential.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to validate and advance new capabilities.
