Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Frontier AI Assistant Director to identify, shape, and scale emerging AI opportunities. You will work across EY service lines, sectors, and alliances to connect client needs with evolving technologies and lead initiatives from experimentation to capability development.

You will supervise projects that explore trusted/open-weight models, AI-native software delivery, and enterprise knowledge systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS/Business or related field.
8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI, ML, product development, solution architecture, technical consulting or related tech disciplines.
Hands-on experimentation, prototyping, or building with emerging technologies as part of an ongoing practice of learning.

Responsibilities

Identify and shape Frontier AI initiatives that connect emerging tech with client challenges and strategic priorities.
Monitor AI developments externally and within EY to spot capabilities and opportunities for clients and firm strategy.
Build relationships across service lines, regions, and ecosystems to understand evolving business needs and tech opportunities.
Design, build, and prototype experiments and proofs-of-concept to validate opportunities and accelerate learning.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to validate and advance new capabilities.
Assess opportunities across business value, technical feasibility, enterprise readiness, risk, and adoption potential.
