Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Frontier AI Assistant Director in the US to identify, shape, and scale emerging AI opportunities. You’ll work with service lines, sectors, alliances, and innovation teams to connect client needs with technology and lead initiatives from experimentation to capability development.

You’ll oversee projects focused on trusted AI, AI-native software delivery, enterprise context systems, and agentic systems, while aligning with EY’s broader strategy and service offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in software engineering, AI, ML, product development, solution architecture, or related tech disciplines.
• Hands-on experimentation, prototyping, or building with emerging technologies.
• Experience leading complex tech initiatives spanning technical and stakeholder considerations.
• Ability to translate tech developments into business value and actionable steps.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AI developments to identify capabilities, signals, and client-relevant opportunities.
• Build cross-functional relationships to understand evolving business needs and tech opportunities.
• Lead Frontier AI initiatives connecting emerging tech with client challenges and priorities.
• Experiment with new technologies to understand capabilities, limits, and applications.
• Design and build experiments, prototypes, and proofs-of-concept to validate opportunities.
